Vogel will be vying for a berth at state as the district tournament nears. Mary Dick shot a 178 as the Cats have only two girls.

Wyatt Stevens led the boys team with a 116, good enough for 18th overall and 13th against the district competition. Keanu Dooley shot 128, Nyk Jones 133, Wyatt Debenderfer a 137 and Marcus Franck a 142 to round out the scoring.

“The Kids had fun, but the course was a very long walk,” said Cats head coach K.C. MacDonald of the scenic but vast reservation course. “We actually had one of our players have to putt by flashlight when the sun went down.”
