Sailing class offered

SANDPOINT — Join Sandpoint Parks and Recreation and the Sandpoint Sailing Association for an introduction to sailing class on Monday through Thursday, June 24-28 from 3-5 p.m. at the Windbag Marina.

Adults and or adults with children 8 years-old and up are welcome, with children placed on the same boats as parents. Students will learn sailing and safety basics and then head out on the water for lots of hands-on experience.

Personal flotation devices required and can be provided, but students should be comfortable in deep water.  

The class fee is $39 per person ($4 city discount) and class fees are all-inclusive. Participants are to meet on Fred’s Deck at the Windbag Marina. Pre-register early to ensure your spot in the class.
