Bears sweep Bulldogs in 4A North doubleheader

MOSCOW — Chase Rodriguez threw a seven-hitter in the opener, but the Bulldogs could not get the bats going, falling 5-0 and 15-5 to the Bears in a 4A Inland Empire League doubleheader on Tuesday in Moscow.

Jackson Russo and Tyler Newton picked up the lone two hits in the opener, as the Bulldogs (1-11, 0-4 4A IEL) were shut out.
