Bulldog boys and girls second at Lakeland Relays

RATHDRUM — Jake Rookey, Raven Smith and Tyler Harris teamed up to win both the long jump and triple jump events at the Lakeland Relays on Tuesday.

The unique format combines the field events into team scoring, as Janis Aylward, Nikole Alamillo and Paige DuMars combined to win the shot put.

The Bulldogs also won both distance medley relays, with Sydney Foster, Bree Jones, Rainey Woodward and Lily DeAragon winning the girls race, while Mark Kennaly, Nathan Schwartz, Alan Orr and Jacob Graham won the boys race.

Select Bulldogs will take part in the All-Star Meet on Thursday in Post Falls, where the top athletes from all district classes will be competing.
