Knapp spared custodial term

SANDPOINT — A Sandpoint woman convicted of leaving the scene of a deadly crash was spared further incarceration on Tuesday.

Brianna Lucille Knapp was charged with the felony offense following a sequence of crashes on Highway 200 west of Clark Fork in July 2012, one of which killed an off-duty Spokane Police officer.
