Crash victim is identified

COOLIN — Idaho State Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed on Eastshore Road on Monday as Steven R. Pitts of Oldtown.

State police said Pitts was northbound when he left his lane of travel on a sharp corner and Pitts’ Yamaha collided with a southbound Nissan Pathfinder sport utility vehicle.

Pitts, 50, was killed in the collision. He was wearing a helmet, ISP said.
