Search sisters pace Bulldogs at districts

SANDPOINT — Doubles carried the day for the Bulldogs last weekend at the 4A Region 1 tennis tournament, as four Bulldog teams punched their ticket to state next weekend in one of the toughest district draws in years.

The sister doubles team of senior Kennedy and freshman Laney Search won the girls doubles championship, and have the athleticism and competitiveness to win a couple of matches at state on Friday, no easy task. They were pushed to a tie-breaker in the first set of the finals against Moscow before pulling out the straight set win.
