Wampus Cats fall to Tigers in opener

MULLAN — Leslie Kiebert ripped a season-high 22 kills to lead Clark Fork, which lost 25-22, 18-25, 25-16, 25-18 to Mullan on Wednesday night in the 1A Division II volleyball tournament opener at the Mullan Pavilion.

Allison Warner and Nona Young ran the offense, finishing with 16 set assists each, and Hope Kinney had several long service runs, but mistakes in key spots proved too much to overcome.
