Rose to run for LPOSD board

SAMUELS — Kathy Rose has announced her intent to run for the Lake Pend Oreille School Board, according to a press release.

“I am familiar with the challenges facing a small town and their schools,” Rose wrote. “I am looking forward to being a voice, providing active and experienced representation to all who live in Zone 1.”

Among the issues Rose wants to address are the “challenges facing residents when accessing information from the district.” She proposed establishing a curriculum review committee composed of parents and other interested district individuals.
