Kootenai Thunder teams wrap up basketball season

KOOTENAI — The Kootenai Thunder boys varsity team, coached by Joel Aispuro, went into the season ending Mountain Christian League tournament recently seeded No. 5 out of eight teams.

The Thunder opened against No. 4 seed North Idaho Christian, and led at half before losing 37-30 in a back and forth affair.

The Thunder bounced back to rout No. 8 seed Classical Christian to the tune of 59-7, which advanced them into the fourth place game against Christian Heritage.
