FSPW earns chamber business honors

The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce named Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness as its business of the month during last week’s general membership luncheon.

Working with the Panhandle Forrest Collaborative, the Peaks Group helped the Bonner Community unite and move forward timber projects and support consensus-driven decisions regarding area natural resources.

Additionally the Scotchman Peaks has engaged local youth to learn more about ecology and wildlife.
