Mountain West Bank receives SBA award

| August 16, 2016 1:00 AM

The Small Business Administration Seattle District Office has awarded Mountain West Bank the 2016 SBA Community Bank Lender of the year award for its outstanding performance in delivering SBA loan programs to Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington’s small business communities. This is the 12th year that the branch has received this award.

Each year, the SBA Seattle district office, which serves Washington State and Northern Idaho, evaluates bank nominees on loan data from the prior fiscal year. Based on the number of SBA loans made and the total dollar amount, Mountain West Bank was named the top community bank lender in the district.

“We are honored to be recognized by the Small Business Administration Seattle district office for our work with small businesses in our communities,” said Tom Pool, SVP, SBA manager. “Mountain West Bank’s SBA lending program continues to grow each year and enables us to invest in the success of Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington’s entrepreneurs, start-ups and other small businesses. Supporting a healthy business community strengthens the community and is a key focus for all of us at Mountain West.”

Mountain West Bank, a Division of Glacier Bank, has served communities throughout Idaho, northern Utah and Eastern Washington since 1993.
