SSA Rec League soccer registration deadline today

SANDPOINT — If you haven’t already registered for the Sandpoint Soccer Association Rec League fall season, the deadline to register and avoid late fees is today, so act now for the lowest rate.
Rec League Soccer is a great sport to play whether you are a newbie or an old pro. Soccer gets kids outside during the week with some great exercise and some fun with their friends, with a game highlighting every Saturday.
The cost to sign up is $50, and SSA also offers scholarships for any players who need them. The league is open to children and teens ages 4 years-old through the 12th grade. More than 400 players take part in the popular league in the fall, having fun while learning the game.
Grab a form online at www.sandpointsoccer.com, or pick one up at the Sandpoint Library or Sandpoint Sports in Ponderay. Turn in the form at Sandpoint Sports by Tuesday, or drop it in the mail that same day, to qualify for no late fee.
Practices start the week of Sept. 12, and games start on Saturday, Sept. 24 and go through Oct. 29.
