Levy discussion to air on KRFY Morning Show

SANDPOINT — The upcoming vote on the proposed Lake Pend Oreille School District plant facilities levy will be the topic of the KRFY Morning Show on Wednesday — with both supporters and opponents in the studio to discuss their positions on the levy.

Airtime is 8 a.m. at 88.5 FM. For those who can’t catch the program live, a recorded podcast will be posted by afternoon to the station’s website at www.krfy.org.

Morning Show co-hosts Suzy Prez and Chris Bessler will stage the program with LPOSD Superintendent Shawn Woodward to speak first with details on the levy proposal and the process by which the school board and administrators formulated the facilities plan.

He’ll be followed with discussion by levy supporters Kendon Perry and Matt Diel, and levy opponents Angelo Lonzisero and Dan Rose.

“It’s a big decision for our community,” said Bessler, “so we hope everyone will listen in for what we intend to be a good discussion of the pro and con of the proposed levy.”
