SPOT announces community survey

SANDPOINT — SPOT has engaged SHIFT community solutions to develop a series of planning documents.

The documents will include a marketing and outreach plan, a service development plan (how existing bus routes are improved and how new routes/services are developed), a capital improvement plan (how vehicles are replaced over time, how new vehicles are acquired, and how bus facilities are improved like bus stops, maintenance facility, and transit centers), and a performance measure system (how SPOT measures success over time).

SPOT and SHIFT are requesting that community members fill out the a survey in order to help inform all of these planning efforts. The survey has many open-ended questions to allow for more flexible response.
