Gerald G. Chugg, 55, of Creston, British Columbia, was cited in the 474000 block on a charge of possession of marijuana at 8:21 a.m.
A male was contacted and advised to leave the 500 block of Third Avenue after a report of trespassing at 8:35 a.m.
After a brother and sister get into an altercation in the 900 block of Division Avenue at 10 a.m., officer advised the male left.
An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver possibly headed into the city from the Gun Club Road area in Sagle at 10:25 a.m.
A male and female got into a verbal altercation in the 300 block of Pine Street at 10:35 a.m.; the female was given a courtesy transport to a relative’s house
An officer checked on a dog in a vehicle at City Beach after a complaint at 12:30 p.m.; the owner was in the process of loading his boat and the dog.
Officers contacted an intoxicated male in the 600 block of Larch Street at 2 p.m.
Officers advised that drivers exchanged information after a report of a fender-bender on Bridge Street at 2:31 p.m.
After a complaint at 4:24 p.m., an officer checked on a dog in a vehicle in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue and advised it was fine.
Keys found in the Lake Street area at 4:25 p.m. were turned in to the police department.
Possible charges are pending after a driver struck a parked vehicle in the Washington Avenue area at 5:14 p.m. and then fled the scene.
An officer contacted family members involved in a shouting match in the 1200 block of Larch Street at 56:27 p.m.; tThe females left the residence.
Officer was canceled prior to arrival in the 700 block of Merton Avenue at 5:36 p.m. for a civil standby.
Accidental 911 activation was reported on Larch Street at 5:20 p.m.
Willie B. Huckabee, 40, of Sagle, was cited on a charge of petit theft in the 600 block of Larch Street at 6:17 p.m.
An intoxicated male was given a courtesy transport to a friend’s residence from Bridge Street at 7:50 p.m.
A possibly physical altercation occurred in the 4200 block of Samuelson Avenue at 8:36 p.m.; alcohol was involved.
A reportedly reckless driver was located and issued a verbal warning in the Fifth Avenue area at 9 p.m.
An officer was unable to contact the owner of a barking dog in the 1800 block of Main Street at 9:30 p.m.
Officers and EMTs checked on a passenger on the Amtrak train on Railroad Depot Road at 11:47 p.m.; he declined treatment and continued on his way.
