Thank you to the people of West Bonner County and beyond who are responsible for the closing of the Laclede disposal site.

A special thank you to the contractors who dumped items from construction and remodeling jobs — the old toilets were quite lovely; to the man in the pickup who disposed of large sheets of pegboard and other items from his garage — I’m sure his new workshop is a dream come true; to the people from Priest River who didn’t want to pay to dispose of their old furniture; and to those who left old mattresses, sofas, recliners, cabinets and large appliances. It is because of you that people who know the meaning of “household refuse” will have to drive to alternate disposal sites but then, you will, too.
