Little Critter to visit library today

SANDPOINT — Little Critter is coming to town today.

Little Critter’s visit to the Sandpoint Library is part of the East Bonner County Library District’s celebration of Idaho Family Reading Week, and includes stories, activities and snacks. Activities begin at 1 p.m. and are geared toward youngsters betweenthe ages of 3-6 and their families.

Public and school libraries across the state are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Idaho Family Reading Week with a variety of activities. Celebrations are planned to encourage parents and caregivers to connect with their children by reading aloud and sharing favorite books to inspire them to become lifelong learners.

Idaho Family Reading Week is an annual event sponsored by the Idaho Commission for Libraries’ Read to Me Program and school and public libraries throughout the state. This year Idaho celebrates the 20th anniversary of this great event.
