Nash, Hobson lead SHS wrestlers past Moscow
RATHDRUM — Scout Nash posted a solid win against one of Moscow’s top wrestlers at 126 pounds, leading the Bulldogs to a 67-15 win over the Bears in a 4A Inland Empire League dual on Wednesday at Lakeland High School.
Justin Hobson avenged an earlier season Tri-State loss with a second period pin at 285 pounds, one of a handful of wrestlers to earn the praise of Bulldog head coach Mike Randles, whose team is now 5-2 in duals on the season.
“Preston Bunty’s progress was on display in an aggressive performance to secure the tech fall,” described Randles of the 138 pound Bunty. “Despite losing, Zach Alamillo wrestled a great match from whistle to whistle.”
Sandpoint is at the University High School Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
