Army Pvt. Dylan S. Woodworth has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, rifle marksmanship, combat, and more.

Woodworth is the son of Alena K. Farley and the stepson of Jake J. Farley of Coeur d’Alene, and son of Robert S. Woodworth of Athol. He is a 2015 graduate of Lake City High School, Coeur d’Alene.

U.S. Air Force Airman Zachary J. Caldwell graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

He completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Caldwell is the son of Elizabeth and Richard Caldwell of Galion, Ohio, and brother of Timothy Caldwell of Ponderay. He is also the grandson of Linda and Walter Caldwell of Marion, Ohio, and nephew of Cathy and James Hughes of Marion, and Rhonda Parker of Enon, Ohio.

He graduated in 2010 from River Valley High School, Caledonia, Ohio.
