Fundraiser to aid teen center

SANDPOINT — All Seasons Garden and Floral is hosting a teen celebration Saturday as part of their anniversary event.

Each anniversary, All Seasons selects one local non-profit to receive their “Growing for Good” award.

“We greatly appreciate the support of the community during all these years of growth,” Nancy Hastings, All Seasons co-owner of All Seasons, said. “It only seemed fitting that we choose to honor the Sandpoint Teen Center this year for their important work in providing local youth with many great services to make it through their sometimes stressful teen years.”

The celebration will take place Saturday, June 25, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 percent of all sales on that day will be donated to fund Sandpoint Teen Center’s programs as well as its building fund.

The teen center is located on the corner of Division and Pine streets and is currently trying to purchase the building and secure their ideal location only a few blocks from the Sandpoint middle and high school as well as the Forrest M. Bird charter schools.

All Seasons will have prizes to giveaway and free barbecue will be served from 11 to 1 p.m. in its shaded orchard at All Seasons Garden & Floral, 31831 Highway 200 East.

“We have employed hundreds of teenagers at All Seasons over these many years,” said the nursery’s co-owner John Hastings. “We are always inspired by their dreams and their determination in the face of quite a lot of adversity to work hard and make those dreams come true.”
