LOST BRACELET RETURNED
Rex J. Allison lost his identification bracelet which was found by Keith Goullette – 47 years later.
When Allison came home with the Sandpoint boys of the 146th Field Artillery at the end of World War I, he spent two weeks here before going onto Centralia. During that two weeks he lost a silver identification bracelet.
Goullette was digging in dirt beneath a garage recently to put in some concrete work. One shovel of dirt tossed out of the hold contained Allison’s bracelet. The silver was still bright and the inscription very legible said Mrs. Goullette.
Just where the bracelet has been for 47 years is a mystery. The house where Goullettes live was formerly at the site of the Cady & Pier Inc., garage (NW corner 4th and Cedar). The Goullettes have been at their location since 1945.

The crowd gathered at a neighbors and went enmass to the Moran home, then with tin pans and pails the night was made hideous just as it was twenty-five years before. The guests went prepared and at the proper time a splendid lunch was served.
After five hundred was indulged in for a time, the old but newly married couple were presented with a beautiful set of sterling silver teaspoons as a token of esteem by their many friends.
