The University of Idaho Extension Office is hosting a Family Fun and 4-H Enrollment Night at the Fairgrounds on Oct. 22, starting at 6 p.m. Please join us for an evening that includes a pizza dinner, games and information about the 4-H clubs in Bonner County.

4-H enrollment is now open for the upcoming year, so now is the time to join a 4-H club and start working on projects. Family Fun Night is an opportunity for you to meet the 4-H clubs and leaders in Bonner County and find the club that is right for you. 4-H projects offer something for everyone and include: raising livestock animals, gardening, sewing, cooking, baking, dog, cat, rabbit, poultry, photography, survival, shooting sports, hiking, horse, government and leadership, and many more.

4 H is the youth development program of our nation’s Cooperative Extension System and USDA, and serves every county in the U.S. through a network of 110 public universities and more than 3,000 local Extension offices. The research-backed 4 H experience grows young people who are four times more likely to contribute to their communities; two times more likely to make healthier choices; two times more likely to be civically active; and two times more likely to participate in science programs.

Please contact the Bonner County Extension Office at 208-263-8511 for more information. Can’t make it to Family Fun Night, but want to join 4-H? You can enroll online at https://idaho.4honline.com.
