FB Live candidate discussions set

| October 12, 2016 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — The Bonner County Daily Bee will be hosting two candidate sessions next week, the first on Oct. 18 and Oct. 20.

Both Kate McAlister and Heather Scott have been invited to participate in a question-and-answer session through the Bee’s Facebook page, as a live feed. Both are running for the Idaho District 1A House of Representatives in the upcoming Nov. 8 election.

Scott is the incumbent and McAlister is the challenger. Scott has declined participating in the Facebook Live feed and gave no alternative dates for rescheduling. The Bee will host challenger Kate McAlister on Oct. 18 at 10 a.m.

The second candidate discussion will be between Sage Dixon, incumbent for the District 1B seat in the Idaho House of Representatives and challenger Stephen Howlett. This discussion has both candidates participating and will be held on Oct. 20 from 2-3 p.m.

Go to the Bonner County Daily Bee Facebook page and click on the link to the discussions.

Reminders will be sent out through the Facebook page as well as posted here in the newspaper.
