“We struggled with stuff happening on the team and emotions,” said Cats head coach Cindy Derr. “I’m just happy they were able to get through the night.”

Sophomore Tessa Sutton had a season-best 10 kills to lead the Wampus Cats (9-9, 6-3 NSL), many from Brooke Stevens, who finished with 26 set assists and two aces.”

“I moved Tessa to the middle and she’s just coming on. Her and Brooke are connecting pretty well together,” said Derr. “Our outsides were strong, just too many dropped balls between players.”

Hailey Bristol added seven kills, Ellie Lambert 15 digs, Grace Shelton 10 digs, Sarah Holderman two blocks and two aces and Ali Sutton two aces in defeat.
