Kelsi Lynn Scarlett

| October 13, 2016 1:00 AM

Our world was made brighter on Aug. 10, 2000, when Kelsi Lynn Scarlett was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She loved everyone she met and was known for her big hugs.

Kelsi went to be with her Jesus on Saturday evening, Oct. 8, 2016, near her home in Clark Fork, Idaho.

She loved doing anything outdoors, including fishing, construction projects, hiking, playing with her siblings or just enjoying the world around her. She had been training with the South Boundary Fire District in hopes of one day becoming a firefighter. She also enjoyed playing volleyball on the Clark Fork High SChool volleyball team this year.

Kelsi is survived by her parents, Saundra and Kalen Scarlett; her sisters, Ameriah Marcy and Chloe Scarlett; her brother, Tracker; her grandparents, Joe and Robina Scarlett and Wayne and Claudia Sommers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Kelsi’s life will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Mountain Springs Church in Bonners Ferry at 10 a.m. There will be a potluck following the service. A graveside service for family only (due to parking limitations) will be held at the Clark Fork Cemetery.
