Oct. 12

EMS was called at 6:24 a.m. for an elderly female who was found in the 1200 block of Alder Street underdressed for the weather.

An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver in the area of Highway 2 and Olive Avenue at 9:36 a.m.

Officers checked on a female in the 1600 block of Hickory Street after a welfare check request at 9:49 a.m.; she was with family and was OK.

Eric J. Nordland, 29, of Sagle, was arrested at the courthouse on S. First Avenue on a Bonner County warrant at 1:58 p.m.

An officer checked on a female in the 1600 block of Spruce Street at 2:07 p.m.; she was fine.

After a complaint of suspicious circumstances in the 1500 block of Pine Street at 2:58 p.m., an officer contacted the male and advised he was meeting someone and knocked on the wrong door.

After two dogs were reported running at large in the area of Third and Oak at 4:02 p.m.; their owner was notified and issued a verbal warning.

A German shepherd found in the Spruce Street area was transported to the animal shelter in Ponderay at 4:29 p.m.

After a welfare check was requested in the area of W. Superior Street and S. Division Avenue at 5:11 p.m., an officer checked on an infant in a bouncy chair outside and advised he was fine.

After a report of threats in the 4200 block of Samuelson Avenue at 5:29 p.m., officers attempted to mediate in a neighbor dispute; parties were referred to management for further assistance.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions on the 900 block of Spruce Street at 7:18 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a reckless driver reported in the area of Forest Avenue and Pine Street at 8:09 p.m.

An officer provided traffic control in the area of N. Division Avenue and Baldy Mountain Road while a sea plane was towed to the airport for winter storage at 11:06 p.m.

Officers checked the residents in the 300 block of N. Ella Avenue at 12:44 a.m.; a male, who had been drinking, just wanted someone with whom to talk.
