It's time to cut the CRAP from your life

| October 26, 2016 1:00 AM

OK, it’s time to cut the CRAP from your diet.

C is carbonated drinks.

R is refined sugar.

A is artificial food.

P is processed food.

Want bettr health, here’s four simple steps that you can take today.

1. Stop eating CRAP … today. Just stop. When you put real, high quality nutrition into your body, you will see and feel tremendous results. I have friends who are always tired, lethargic, fatigued — and, they never have the energy to do anything but take a nap at 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

I encourage all of my friends and clients to clean out their kitchen and start with a fresh slate of clean, organic food.

2. Sur-round yourself with people who are on the same health and wellness path that you are on. It is really difficult to stay on the right path when your friends and loved ones would rather sit around eating chips, drinking soda and roll their eyes at just the thought of going for a walk. Grab a few people who have like-minded goals and will be there to support you in a positive way and follow those who you know, like and trust on social media. There is a lot of motivation, guidance and support for you when you look in the right place.

3. Make your dinner green. I’m not suggesting a bowl of iceberg lettuce, that’s boring and not going to be beneficial for you.

Load up a plate with kale, spinach, cucumbers, green peppers, tomatoes, celery, carrots, broccoli florets and a sliced, cooked chicken breast on top. Doesn’t that sound delicious and nutritious? Yes, it does.

4. Say hello to H20. Put down the high calorie, sugar-laden drinks and reach for water. You could easily consume an entire day’s worth of calories in your drinks alone.

Crazy as that many sound, it’s true.

Just by making a few simple changes every day, you will start seeing and feeling enormous results.

I think everyone deserves to feel amazing. Stop eating CRAP and start moving your body. It’s as simple as taht.
