Week packed with no shortage of spooky fun

| October 27, 2016 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — It would be an overstatement to say this week’s fun is all about Halloween, but there is no shortage of spooky fun coming up.

In advance of the ghoulish good times, however, make it down to the Panida Little Theater tonight for an important film titled, ‘Red Power Energy’ — a documentary about how Indian Tribes are working to balance natural resources with traditional beliefs on caring for the Earth — powerful stuff.

Also this evening, the Native Plant Society and Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness have dual events happening at Pend d’Oreille Winery and MickDuff’s Beer Hall respectively.

The Panida brings a cool and creepy movie to the big screen Friday through Sunday, and there are more costume parties and live music venues than you can shake a broom at over the weekend.

Families might want to take part in the special Kids’ Carnival happening Monday evening at Sandpoint Church of the Nazarene.

Be safe and have big fun!
