| October 28, 2016 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — The Bonner County History Museum is excited to announce two upcoming events; the October Late Night at the Museum: A Spooktacular Cocktail Party, and its Fourth Annual Trick-or-Treat at the Museum.

Today, Oct. 28, the museum will host its first adults-only Halloween event: A Spooktacular Cocktail Party. The hauntingly good fun will last from 5-8 p.m., leaving plenty of time for any other Halloween fun that evening. You’ll have the opportunity to indulge in magic potions, tasty vittles and festive games, as well as to experience the museum looking rather scarier than usual. Admission will be $10 for the public and $5 for members, with memberships available for purchase. Admission includes all food and beverage and entertainment.

Late Nights at the Museum is a unique event series for 2016 in which one Friday each month the museum stays open late and offers a variety of sensory experiences for visitors with performances, concerts, readings, film screenings, tours, talks, family programs, crafts, food and beverage and so much more!

On Monday, Oct. 31, the museum, in conjunction with the Sandpoint Lions Club, will host their fourth annual Trick-or-Treat at the Museum and Lion’s Den. The museum will be open from 4-7 p.m. for trick-or-treating and experiencing the museum decked out in its festive best. The Lion’s Den will have warm drinks and popcorn for those needing a little break from the weather.
