Little to speak at business forum

SANDPOINT — The deadline to sign up for the 2016 “What’s Happening Up North” Prospering Business Workshop is Monday, Oct. 31.

Keynote speaker at the Nov. 3 event will be Idaho Lt. Gov. Brad Little; other speakers include Chris Healy, vice president at Biomedical Innovations; John Hennessey, chief financial officer for Bonner General Health; and Dana Jordan, president of Cascade Rescue. A dozen other speakers from businesses and commerce groups will speak in panel discussions. The event is sponsored by the Bonner County Economic Development Corporation, Headwaters Economics and others.

The talks run 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., with a continental breakfast at 7 a.m. for early risers. There will be a catered lunch.
