Wellness center plans groundbreaking

PONDERAY — The Pend Oreille Wellness Center will begin construction on its 15,000-square-foot, two-story medical office building in Ponderay. Ground breaking is set to take place Tuesday, Sept. 13, with construction scheduled to be completed by summer 2017.

The Pend Oreille Wellness Center, 30544 Highway 200, is the third building in the complex known as North Idaho Medical Village. This new center is specifically designed and staffed to provide quality wellness service to residents of the surrounding communities.

Center officials said the proejct was made possible with the help of:

The anticipated 2017 opening of Pend Oreille Wellness Center will bring many essential services together under one roof, improve continuity of care and convenience for patients, and combine knowledge and practice to become North Idaho’s premier integrated health center, center officials said.

This group of innovative health care professionals recognizes the need for access to care where you live and is committed to providing excellent communication between all providers of your care. As well, this expansion of health care services in our area will provide job opportunities for medical professionals already living in our community; allowing them to work where they love to live.
