Sept. 7

A traffic stop in the area of Highway 95 and Kootenai Cutoff Road lead to the passenger, Zachery Ingersoll, being arrested on a Bonner County arrest warrant at 12:39 a.m.

Traffic hazard reported in the 62000 block of Highway 200 in Clark Fork at 3:45 p.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Sept. 6

Extra patrol was requested due to verbal threats made in the 300 block of Halley Street at 10:03 a.m.

A 911 pocket dial was reported in the area of Chestnut Street and N. Boyer Avenue at 10:42 a.m.

A vehicle owner was issued a verbal warning for parking in front of mail boxes in the 1600 block of Spruce Street at 10:37 a.m.

A dog owner in the 1100 block of Spruce Street was issued a verbal warning at 11:01 a.m. for allowing his dog to run at large.

A World War II hand grenade was rendered safe by Fairchild Air Force personnel after a reported explosives problems on N. Fourth Avenue at 12:16 p.m.

A citizen in the 600 block of Washington Avenue dialed 911 at 12:33 p.m. and then hung up when the situation resolved itself.

A hit-and-run, which occurred in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue on the previous Saturday, was reported at the police department at 12:47 p.m.

A two-vehicle, non-injury, head-on collision was reported in the area of Ebbett Way and N. Boyer Avenue at 1:31 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation from out-of-state was received on N. Boyer Road at 2:11 p.m.

A cold battery was reported in the 1200 block of Hickory Street at 3:35 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation on Cedar Street at 4:58 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call in the area of N. Division Avenue at 5:57 p.m.

Law enforcement assistance was no longer needed in the 300 block of Halley Street at 6:45 p.m. as the problem was resolved.

Officers contacted a citizen in the 1000 block of Jefferson Avenue at 8:43 p.m. who initially thought a group of juveniles had stolen a gun. They hadn’t, and the call was cleared as unfounded.

Jesse D Thomas, 26, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 600 block of Larch Street at 9:48 p.m. on charges of possession of meth, petit theft and paraphernalia.

A non-injury accident was reported on S. Ella Avenue at 10:10 p.m.

A caller on Samuelson Avenue was transferred to the county for further follow-up at 4:15 a.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

Sept. 6

An officer responded to a fire in the 478800 block of Highway 95 at 4:09 p.m.

Erik R. Kreiger, 48, of Sandpoint was cited on Highway 95 at 4:20 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana less than three ounces and possession of paraphernalia with the intent to use

An officer responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 700 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 6 p.m.

An attempt to locate was broadcast for a male who left the 1400 block of W. Lake Street at 5:58 p.m. after making suicidal threats on Facebook. He was later located and was fine.

An officer assisted Sandpoint Police on N. First Avenue at 7:03 p.m.

Officer responded to an agency assist in the 600 block of Larch Street at 9:48 p.m.

Sept. 7

Officer responded to the 476900 block of Highway 95 to assist on a warrant arrest at 12:39 a.m.

An officer responded to a reported shoplifting on Highway 2 at 7:14 a.m.

A dog was reported running at large on Kluth Street at 7:45 a.m.

A dog was reported running at large on Second Street at 11:18 a.m.

An officer assisted a citizen on E. Jackson Avenue at 1:33 p.m.

Vandalism was reported on S. Mckinley Street at 5:43 p.m.

An officer responded to a reported family offense on N. Riley Creek Road at 6:58 p.m.

A possible sex offense was reported on Highway 57 at 8:11 p.m.

An officer responded to a reported battery on Fifth Street at 8:23 p.m.
