City set to unveil Solar Roadways project

The first-ever public demonstration of Solar Roadways, a joint project between the city of Sandpoint and Solar Roadways, Inc., will be revealed Sept. 30 at Jeff Jones Town Square. Featuring heating elements to ensure an ice-free walkway and interactive LED lights for public engagement, the project provides proof of concept testing for the SR3 solar panel.
