Fall heating up with cool entertainment options

| September 29, 2016 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Trees are turning red and gold and, in many Sandpoint neighborhoods, the moose are back to eat the last of our roses and pluck the perfectly ripe fruit from our trees — sigh.

But in all things entertaining, it’s just as hot as ever out there. Tonight, an amazing opportunity to hear live Indian classical music onstage at the Panida, as Pandit Partho Sarothy is joined by Abhijit Bannerjee on tabla and Somnath Roy on the ghatam. Suffice it to say, this one is a must-attend!

We’ve got fun runs and bike races, film festivals and Oktoberfest events, too.

Just take a look:

Fusing Folk, Celtic Traditional, Americana, Old Time Blues, and drawing influence from contemporary songwriters, Old Sap’s songs tell stories of loss, of finding joy in adventure and uncertainty, of learning to bear life’s ugliness with grace, bowing humbly to the mystery at the center of all things, singing praise to our shared existence on this planet.
