On Sunday, Oct. 2, First Lutheran will hold a blessing of the animals at 4 p.m. on the church lawn. The church is located at Olive and Ontario in Sandpoint.
The blessing of the animals is held in remembrance of St. Francis and his legendary kindness to animals.
All are invited.
