Jack Frost Fest celebrates winter

| December 1, 2017 12:00 AM

This weekend, the first ever Jack Frost Fest will welcome in winter and celebrate the fun of the season. It’s a community gathering where you can enjoy good music and get excited for the coming winter season.

We will have four great bands playing in the Panida as well as Schweitzer Ski Patrol’s Avy Dog program, Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center, and Selkirk Outdoor Leadership & Education will be there to inform everyone about the programs they offer the community.

Join Mattox Farm productions in the historic Panida Theater for an evening of great music and learn about organizations that help make our winter activities safer and more enjoyable.

The bands are Shakewell, Moonshine Mountain, Sasha Bell and BareGrass.

Patrons can purchase individual tickets or a weekend pass for all three Frost Fest events on the Panida’s website and then they can attend SOLE’s Backcountry Film Festival on Friday, Jack Frost Fest on Saturday and a special family movie at the Panida Little Theater on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

The weather outside isn’t too frightful yet but this would be a great way to kick off the season.
