CLARK FORK — Brenden Jessen scored 14 points to lead the Tigers past the Wampus Cats 65-28 in nonleague boys basketball Tuesday night at Clark Fork High School.

“We moved the ball really well and shot the ball really well,” Timberlake coach Michael Scott said. “We waited for some good, open shots and shot a good percentage. Clark Fork played hard, but had some illnesses and were missing some key players.”

Colton Counts added eight points for 3A Timberlake (7-4).

Spencer Jeffres posted 17 points, 10 rebounds and four steals for Clark Fork (7-6), which was playing with a number of sick players and without Kobe Banks and struggled to find offense. Wade Stevens had four steals and three assists and Hunter Boudousquie nine points and five rebounds in defeat.

Clark Fork is at Kootenai on Saturday in North Star League play.
