Timberwolves top Bulldogs
(Photo by SHERI JONES) Sandpoint sophomore Mason Bangeman, pictured right at the Battle for the Paddle, and the Bulldogs were in action at Lake City on Wednesday night. Bangeman scored a 3-2 decision at 113 pounds over Lake City.
COEUR d’ALENE — Preston Bunty (152), Zack Alamillo (220) and Casey Olesen (106) registered pins for the Bulldogs, who fell 50-27 to the 5A Timberwolves in a nonleague dual Wednesday night at Lake City High School.
Several other Bulldogs earned solid wins for the Bulldogs, who are now 8-8 in duals on the season.
With the dual tied 27-27, Hayden Chatwin pinned Joshua Guthrie in 1 minute, 13 seconds. Lake City did not lose another weight the rest of the night.
Sandpoint hosts Moscow on Friday during Senior Night, with action starting at 6 p.m. at SHS.
