Betty Menser scholarship announces award winner

First Presbyterian Church of Sandpoint congratulates Lani Wahl, who recently was awarded a scholarship from the Betty Menser Memorial Scholarship fund.

Wahl attends Whitworth University in Spokane, and has a double major in psychology and health science.

The daughter of Dyno Wahl of Sandpoint, she has been active in the Presbyterian Church, at the local and regional levels, including serving as a camp counselor at a church related camp.

Her current plans include travel during spring break to the Dominican Republic on a medical mission team.

The Betty Menser Memorial Scholarship honors a woman who was dedicated to family, education, and church. The fund is administered by Presbyterian Women, a group where Betty served as moderator for several years.
