Road weight limits announced

SANDPOINT — Weight limits are in effect for some county roads. No early morning hauling is allowed on any Bonner County maintained road posted with weight limits.

• District 1 (south of the Long Bridge) — Eureka Road, Jewel Lake Road, Whittum Road, S. Sagle Road (gravel portion only) and Road 22 are posted with weight limits. All other roads were posted with green flags Friday. This means weight limits are imminent therefore all heavy equipment should be removed as soon as possible.

• District 2 (Priest River/Priest Lake) — Settlement Road, Anselmo Lane, Santa Maria, Campbell Point Road and Riley Creek Park Drive, Thama Drive and N. Riley Creek Road are still posted with green flags. Weight limits are imminent and heavy equipment should be removed as soon as possible.

• District 3 (Sand-point/Clark Fork)

The following roads are posted with weight limits effective immediately; French Road, Old Highway, E. Spring Creek Road and Johnson Creek Road.
