This community has an obligation to educate our children to the very best of its ability. To settle for less is to deprive our children of resources and programs intended to ensure success in a future world that is ever changing.

While being extremely important, the education of our children is also one of the hardest things to accomplish. Why? Because each child is a unique individual with learning needs specific to them alone. That is why schools use only research-based materials and programs and structure classes and groups to maximize learning opportunities for each child.

LPOSD is comprised of highly qualified, dedicated, and caring staff whose primary goal is to see all students exceed proficiency expectations in all subject areas. Every year, our schools are under pressure to produce results. Consequently, professional development, curriculum updates, new textbooks, diverse programs, new ideas, strategies, and processes are constantly evolving and focused on student achievement. They do a great job with what they have. But, ongoing support and resources are needed for the high quality programs for which LPOSD is known.

We continue to need a community that is dedicated to educating its children. Bonner County has a long history of supporting supplemental levies. Now is not the time to stop this support. Please give our children a chance for the best education we can give them by voting for the replacement levy.
