Heiser to talk leadership, more at 7B Women lunch

| July 7, 2017 1:00 AM

7B Women will host its July luncheon on Tuesday, July 11 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tango Café. This month’s featured speaker will be local resident Debbie Heiser.

Heiser has spent 26 years in leadership capacities with international, domestic and small business sectors and also in volunteer roles in the community. Her talk will focus on leadership and the importance of understanding our own reasons behind why we lead in our organizations, our communities and our families.

“This will be a time to learn, share and have fun as we uncover what those fortuitous moments were in our lives that lead us to this point and created a ripple effect,” said Heiser.

With a bachelor of science in elementary education and a master’s degree in organizational leadership with an emphasis in servant leadership, Heiser recently started Three Vines Consulting & Leadership Development, working with individuals and organizations to develop leaders and strategy.

Debbie has presented at Gonzaga University’s Leadership Symposium and has been a member of a panel focused on servant leadership in the workplace. She shares that she has had the privilege to work with amazing people throughout her lifetime and is excited to help others identify and maximize their own potential in their life’s calling.

Board member and Secretary of 7B Women, Gina Hall, said this will be a luncheon people won’t want to miss.

“Debbie is a wonderful asset in our community who always gives back and selflessly shares her talents,” said Hall. “Debbie not only sees your strengths, but encourages you to use them in the best possible way to positively impact your world.”

The luncheon is open to everyone in the community, men and women. The cost is $21 or $16 if you are a member of 7B Women, Inc. Membership is $35 per year and can be paid online at the group’s website, www.7BWomen.com.

Please note that due to the high participation in the past and so Tango Café can adequately prepare for the luncheon, pre-registration is highly encouraged.

If people would like an opportunity to promote their business at the luncheon, they are asked to bring an item to raffle and will be given a “minute with the mic” during the course of the luncheon.

Register online at 7B Women.com and you can also purchase your raffle tickets ahead of time to avoid standing in line at check in and optimizing your networking time. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.
