This is a totally positive response to Michael Harmelin’s letter to the editor (Daily Bee, July 9, 2017). He stated that the new traffic revisions had created an extremely dangerous intersection at Second Avenue and Cedar Street.

A driver’s view, heading north on Second, trying to make a left turn on to Cedar, is completely blocked by the diagonal parking on Cedar. This is especially true, if trucks are parked there. This also applies to Third Avenue and Cedar. These intersections are “accidents waiting to happen.”

As Michael said, the city should change the corner parking spaces on Cedar from diagonal to parallel. He is “right on.”
