Mr. Santa’s “Letter to the Editor” (Daily Bee, July 11, 2017) is the greatest sacrilege I have read in some time. Comparing our Lord Jesus to President Trump or President Trump to our Lord Jesus requires the utmost gall a person could display.

Jesus is God, a member of the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. How dare Mr. Santa diminish my God to a mere human being. Also, let Mr. Santa show me where President Trump ever proclaimed to be like Jesus or possess His attributes.

The evangelical community chose to vote for Mr. Trump because they liked what they saw: A Christian man, a non-politician, an American patriot and a free agent who was beholden to nobody.

For shame, Mr. Santa, for spewing such nonsense. For shame, Mr. Santa for implying that President Trump may be the anti-Christ.
