July 6

A follow-up report was taken on Forest Avenue at 8:26 a.m.

An officer was unable to contact the victim of a battery that had occurred the day prior on Iberian Way at 8:45 a.m.

An employee at a business accidentally set off the alarm in the 400 block of Church Street at 10:01 a.m.

Jesse R. Still, 23, of Newport, Wash., was arrested in the area of Highway 2 and Ontario Street at 10:28 a.m. on charges of possession of meth and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Report of a non-injury vehicle-versus-bicycle accident in the area of Highway 2 and S. Boyer Avenue at 10:54 a.m.

Terrance M. Finnerty, 40, of Cocolalla, was arrested on three Bonner County warrants in the 600 block of Larch Street at 11:27 a.m. and advised a report of shoplifting was unfounded.

An officer was unable to complete a civil standby at 1:10 p.m.; the resident had moved from the 1100 block of N. Florence Avenue.

A walk-in collision form was filed at the police department for an accident that occurred on N. First Avenue at 2:35 p.m.

A disorderly female had already left the 1300 block of W. Superior when the officers arrived at 3 p.m.

Cats were left in a residence in the 1100 block of N. Florence Avenue at 2:54 p.m. when the owners moved out.

An adult female was taken on a mental hold in the 500 block of Fourth Avenue after a report of suicide threats at 4:10 p.m.

After a complaint at 7:07 p.m., an officer checked on a dog in a truck at City Beach. The motor was running and the A/C was on.

An officer was unable to locate a female reported to be dancing around a tree after a welfare check request at 10:47 p.m.

July 7

Two males were contacted and FI’ed in the area of N. First Avenue and Church Street after a report of disorderly conduct at 1:57 a.m.

After an alarm was reported in the 200 block of E. Superior Street at 2:18 a.m., officers advised no problems were noted.
