Registration deadline nearing for marathon

CLARK FORK — The second Wampus Cat Marathon announced it is extending the registration deadline to the actual race day on July 30.

However, to obtain an official T-shirt, applications must be received by July 25, so act quickly.

The highly-scenic marathon starts at the Sandpoint Elks and ends at Clark Fork High School, with a half marathon starting at Trestle Creek and a 5K race starting west of Clark Fork. Individuals or relay teams may enter.

If you cannot participate but would like an official T-shirt, they may be purchased for $15, but must be ordered by July 25. Please contact race director Emory Clark at emoryjp@msn.com.

All proceeds from the race benefit Clark’s alma mater, Clark Fork High School.
