Scott Nations to talk in Sandpoint

SANDPOINT — Scott Nations, President and CIO of NationsShares, CNBC contributor and best-selling author, will regale his audience with the inside story of his latest work, “A History of the United States in Five Crashes”. The book, released on June 13 of this year, is an Amazon No. 1 new release in stock market investing.

The event will fascinate investors, history buffs and drama fans as Nations takes the audience on a journey through the five significant stock market crashes in the past century to reveal how they defined the United States today.

Nations’ presentation will take place on Aug. 7, 2017, at 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Sandpoint Events Center, 102 S. Euclid, Suite 306. There is no charge for the event. Attendees are encouraged, instead, to donate to Kinderhaven.

Nations’ interest in Sandpoint comes from conversations he’s shared with his long-time friend and Chicago Board of Trade colleague, Ron Denova. Ron is a principal at Gateway Financial Partners, a financial advisory firm located in Sandpoint and Priest River.
