I.W.W. INIMICAL TO NATION’S IDEALS

George D. Ayers, dean of the state university law department, last night told a good-sized crowd gathered on the school ground that, while the country is at war with a foreign foe, a foe to the teachings of those who founded the republic upon equal rights is in our midst. He claimed that the I.W.W.s seek to break down individual liberty and coerce freemen to assist them in a class struggle. He said incidents had come to his attention showing the I.W.W., by a system of intimidation and coercion, forces men into their ranks against their will.
