I don’t know about you, but I am done with the moron in the White House. Give him a chance, I heard; the serious nature of the office will change him, they insisted. The lying, denying, clowning, and theatrics of the political campaign will fade away and a leader will emerge in the oval office. Wrong!

The American body politic voted for Hillary but the aristocrats who wrote the Constitution could not trust We the People with the decision of who would become Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. They sought to protect themselves from the riff-raff via the Electoral College, but the politicians turned the tables on them, as usual.

No, I am not for firing the buffoon; in fact, I want him to stay in office and continue his shameful behavior for two full terms. Sadly, it will take that long for his misguided supporters to finally digest reality: the Mexicans will not pay for the wall, we will; tax cuts for the rich benefit the rich, period; globalization is not going away, corporate America loves it; the big money in America goes to con artist financiers, not working people; there is no such thing as clean coal; climate change is not fake news; if America doesn’t lead, another nation (guess who) will move its color bearer to the front.

Tell me, Trump people: Is it too much to ask for dignity and integrity to be required attributes for President of the United States?
